01About
Independent apps · Thoughtful development
I build things people can use.
I'm Kenneth Calamay, a developer who takes ideas from the first question to something real you can use.
I built Discipler and OT Finisher as independent apps for people who want a calmer way to grow in faith. Both are available on iOS.
My background is in web and backend systems, including Elixir, Phoenix, and Rails. I bring that experience to useful software for the people who will actually live with it.

Keep the standards
Build things that are clear, dependable, and easy to return to. The details matter long after an app first ships.
Change the methods
Choose the tools and approach that serve the idea and its users, whether I'm building an app, a website, or the systems behind it.
Stay willing to relearn
Keep learning from the people who use what I build, and improve the work as their needs become clearer.
