Information We Collect

OT Finisher may collect information that you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, or support request details when you contact us.

The app processes reading progress, bookmarks, completion dates, preferences, and reflections locally on your device to provide its core features. OT Finisher does not send this journey data to an OT Finisher server, and there is no account or automatic application-level cloud synchronization. We do not sell your personal information.

How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

• Provide and improve OT Finisher
• Respond to support requests
• Fix bugs and improve app performance
• Comply with legal obligations

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not receive your local journey data through an OT Finisher server. If you choose to export a backup, restore a backup, or enable Android's optional daily backups, the destination is selected by you. Android daily backups can be readable JSON files or password-protected backup files. A cloud-backed folder may upload those files—including reflection text in readable backups—through its storage provider; that provider's terms, privacy policy, copies, and retention practices apply. The app also opens optional comparison links in your browser, where the linked service's privacy policy applies.

We may share information you voluntarily send in support requests, or information required by law or needed to protect our rights.

Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.

Data Retention

OT Finisher does not retain the journey stored locally on your device. Exported files remain wherever you save or share them. Android daily backups retain up to seven OT Finisher-created dated snapshots in the folder you choose; you can pause the feature and delete those app-created files from the app, but this cannot remove copies retained independently by a storage provider. Information sent in support requests is retained only as needed to respond, resolve issues, or comply with legal requirements.

Your Choices

You may erase the app's local journey from within the app. You may pause Android daily backups, change their destination, or delete the OT Finisher-created snapshot files. You choose whether Android daily backups are readable or password-protected. Passwords are not recoverable, so a protected backup cannot be restored if its password is forgotten. You control copies exported or stored with third-party providers and must use those providers' controls for copies they retain. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with you, subject to applicable laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
